Silfra Fissure — Wetsuit Snorkeling Experience

- All snorkeling gear (wetsuit, hood, fins, mask, snorkel)
- English-speaking certified guide
- Free underwater photos
- Hot chocolate after the snorkel
- Meeting point at Silfra (self-drive)
- GoPro camera (if you want to rent one)
Snorkeling in Iceland might sound like a crazy idea, as it’s usually associated with much warmer waters (think the Caribbean). But once you realize you’ll be swimming between two continents, it immediately makes sense.
Silfra sits right between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates. It boasts some of the clearest and purest water in the world, with visibility reaching up to 100 meters. The fissure actually pulls apart by a few centimeters every year, so you’re swimming through a crack that is actively growing wider and splitting Iceland in two!
Adventure Vikings is the only company that offers the choice of wetsuit snorkeling for those who want more freedom of movement and a true "refreshing" dip without any previous experience! They provide all the necessary gear and take professional underwater photos of your journey.
If you’re looking for something genuinely unique, even for Iceland, this is it. Float between continents, enjoy a warm cup of cocoa afterward, and leave with photos so clear your friends will swear they were generated by AI.
