  Crooked, greedy thieves and fraudsters. Solo traveler here, lawyer. They'd "overbooked" and didn't have the vehicle I'd put down a deposit for, so I got a "free upgrade" to a much larger vehicle with 25% worse fuel economy (a vehicle I didn't need and didn't want). This constituted breach of contract, entitling me to 1) Reimbursement for the extra amount I spent on fuel, or alternatively, 2) To turn in the vehicle with less than a full tank (under the contractual principle/remedy of "self-help"). Next, if you don't pay 30-40% extra for their overpriced insurance, they'll put an extremely high hold on your credit card, something like $3000 - which they don't notify you of in detail at the time of booking. When I got the "upgraded" van, the windows were all filthy, and the check engine light and another warning light were on. The associate (who never introduced herself by name) said those two sensors were just faulty and I shouldn't worry about it. After driving for a few miles, the tire pressure light then came on. Three warning lights. And of course there was no handheld tire pressure gauge in the vehicle. So I had to deal with the stress of worrying about getting stranded with a flat or blowout or blown engine in the middle of nowhere, and I had to take time out of my very short, compressed itinerary to figure out how to find a gas station with air (few and far between), translate from Icelandic, convert kilopascals to PSI, etc. Another breach of contract causing actual damages in time lost and sights I had to skip. The tires were slightly overfilled; but it's also highly likely that the TPMS sensor was faulty and needed replacing and that they already knew that and had just temporarily disabled/reset the light, which would constitute fraud - concealing a known defect - also very illegal. Then, the cherry on top: when I returned the vehicle I was short maybe 10 liters (about 2,500 ISK/$20) and they charged me an extra 15,000 ISK ($120) for that. She told me it was just going to be a €35 "administrative fee" plus the price of the missing fuel before running my card. I didn't even realize they'd charged me 15,000 ISK until I saw the receipt. Fraud again. I was in a time crunch and needed to get their shuttle back to the airport pronto, so I didn't have time to argue. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.

  Super affordable price almost half compared to other rental if you looking for camper vans or rooftop tents best place. There are 7 minutes away from airport also they provide airport pickup and drop off. And highly recommended getting platinum insurance it’s $14 extra. I had chipped windshield from small rock insurance took care of it. Staff ere so nice

  We had a great experience with Konvin car rental, they gave a an amazing Jeep Renegade. The car was amazing and the service was great. They were reachable all the time.

  Great experience i rented a fiat and landed at KEF airport ,the guy was already waiting for me after a few minutes drive to the location i picked up the car in good condition clean and everything works . I recommend
