Highly recommend!! Rented a Go Smart automatic for 8 days to travel around the Ring Road, and it was perfect! Checking/pick up/dropping off was extremely smooth, staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. Campervan came with everything that I needed, I felt like there was plenty of space. And the best of all it was pretty fuel efficient! I did not spend as much in gas as I was planning on. For my future trips, I definitely plan on renting with them again

I’ve just returned from my 23rd trip to Iceland, once again renting a camper van from Go Campers for a South Coast and Eastfjords trip. I’ve picked Go Campers and Go Car Rentals for all my Icelandic road trips since 2018, and it’s always been a perfect experience, every time. I know Go Campers will provide well-maintained and well-equipped vehicles, so I can relax and enjoy the journey without worrying about tyres, engines or how comfortable I’ll be. The pick-up process at the airport is seamless and efficient, and the vehicle handover process is detailed, comprehensive and focused on safety. That always includes clear explanations about Icelandic road rules, like the lane priorities on roundabouts and one-lane bridges and tunnels, as well as the toll tunnel outside Akureyri. Glenn, Arni and the team did a great job of quickly processing everyone, so it took less than an hour to get on the road. It’s always wise to take your time when picking up the rental car, filming it from all angles to ensure everyone agrees on its condition before you start the journey. I was in a Fiat 2-person camper van, which makes the most of the space to include a mini-fridge, gas-powered cooker, cutlery and plates, and an extremely efficient interior heater, which kept me very comfortable at night! The Fiat was very fuel efficient, handled beautifully and was a pleasure to drive, accompanied by a good audio system. When it was time to return the vehicle, that was equally straightforward, with the checks completed in no time, and the offer of a lift to my hotel, which was much appreciated. Over the years, I’ve come to know that Go Car Rental and Go Campers have an unrivalled reputation for customer service and satisfaction. There are many social media stories about other vehicle rental companies in Iceland when things haven’t gone well, but this is one company that consistently delivers great value, excellent customer service and safe, reliable vehicles. When you’re visiting Iceland, Go Campers is the way to go! PS - exterior photo is from 2024's road trip, in a different vehicle!

We have just come back from a 10 day road trip with the Go Campers Van Lite. It is the second time we are renting out the same vehicle and did the North Coast this time. As before, we were were satisfied with the Van as we find it perfect to explore the country side but drive hassle free in cities. the sleeping arrangement is comfortable and the daily remodeling very easy. We used most of the appliances and thanks to the nice weather could also sit outside and enjoy the sun a couple of times ont he camping chairs. The handling - especially when we dropped off the vehicle - was very fast and uncomplicated. The shuttle to the airport a plus. There could be a bit more space in the van for stowing e.g. food items so I suggest to add 2 small cupboards in the back on above the backrests.

I cannot be more impressed by the service we received from this team during our ten day camper trip. We picked up an electrical problem with our camper late one evening and they did not hesitate to send us a replacement vehicle to Selfoss instantly at no cost and even covered our fuel cost for the first day of travel. In addition they were extremely helpful on a WhatsApp line for any and every little querie we had even the ones not related to vehicle renting. The camper was two wheel driven and extremely comfortable and well equipped, we traveled 2000 plus km’s in the most hazardous weather and it just kept going. I will never use another rental company in Iceland after the incredible service (after hours too) from this team. They get 5 stars all the way, only because the review does not allow for 6 stars!!!
