We rented a camper from Iceland Campers for our 8 day trip in Iceland. The camper was brand new, had absolutely no issues during our trip and was comfortable for 5 people to sleep and keep their stuff. The staff were very helpful and friendly during pickup and drop off. Did not need to contact them at all during our trip. Unlike many other Icelandic rental companies, this is not a third party company. They own and rent their own campers. Would definitely recommend renting directly from them if you come to Iceland. Will rent from them the next time we're in Iceland.

Really happy with the service and the camper car we rented with Iceland Campers. Reythor helped me with all the questions I had while booking and Charlie picked us up at the airport and made us feel welcome with his hospitality and many good tips. The camper car was new, fuel efficient and had everything we needed. If I come back to Iceland, I will be renting with them for sure.

Had a great experience renting through Iceland Campers for our week long adventure staying at campsites throughout the North of Iceland. We rented the Renault Master 3, which was their largest - mostly for comfort as my wife and I are used to a large camper back in Alaska, USA. This model had an upper bunk and could’ve comfortably slept 4 people, perhaps 5-6 so long as folks didn’t mind sleeping close to each other. Plenty of cooking utensils were provided, including knives, small cutting boards, a medium sized pot, a 10 inch non-stick pan, cups, plates, kitchen shears, can opener, etc. just to name a few. The provided one-burner camp stove was efficient, burned hot, and they provided an extra can of fuel besides the one installed in the stove. The camper also had a small refrigerator and you could adjust the temperature to make it a freezer if needed. It was the size of a small-ish cooler, plenty for our needs. Our camper also had a water tank with a small faucet and sink inside. A friendly staff member gave us a tour when we picked up the van. We had a slight miscommunication about drop-off times and ended up returning the van an hour after scheduled. They were gracious with us and didn’t charge for an extra day. We will book with them when we return to Iceland and will recommend them to friends.

Overall we had a wonderful experience using iceland campers, they’re a smaller new company that Eythor runs almost entirely by himself. As far as pricing it was the most affordable camper for the size I was able to find after lots of research. The van itself was new and in good condition, very powerful diesel engine that helped in heavy Reykjavík traffic. Very comfortable for my wife I and our two small boys sleeping in the back. Would certainly rent from this company agin should we return!
