Water damage from rivers, pools, or lakesNo vehicle is insured when crossing rivers or driving in water of any kind.
F-roads without an approved 4x4Not covered: damage from driving on mountain roads or any F‑road, including Kjölur (35), Kaldidalur (550), and Sprengisandur (26).
Wind-blown door damageThis exclusion applies across the board and is clearly stated under both CDW and SCDW policies.
Tires, headlights, and windscreenYou will need to add specific coverage if you’d like these protected.
An unregistered driverThis will immediately void the insurance. A separate flat fine of USD 350 will be charged on top.

Karolis and Michael were great. Rijo campers made our experience a great one. They were flexible and accommodating. I had made a mistake in my dates and they made the changes no problem weeks before. They brought the van to us and picked it up so that we didn’t have to drive more. They kept our extra bags at their office. Even when we needed an early ride to the airport they offered to help. They awnsered WhatsApp messages right away and felt like they were intimately aware of us and our needs. Great guys, highly recommend if going to rent camping vehicles in Iceland.

We were satisfied with our van rental experience. The vehicle was as described. One of the biggest advantages was the 24/7 vehicle pickup, which made it convenient to collect the van at any time after our flight arrived. The return process was just as flexible in Reykjavik area. The staff were very friendly. A special thank you to Misiu, Mexicano, and Schwarz Drama for their kindness, great service, and warm welcome. We recommend this company.

A nice company to rent a car. We were surprised having Dacia Duster 4x4, the passability was exceptionally good! We got a snow in a mountains and some rocky roads, everything was perfect. Big thanks to Karolis and Michail, they both were super helpful and support us. A kitchen stuff is included into the package, gass as well - very comfortable. I would recommend do not sleep in a tent at the beginning of May - it is too cold!

Thank you to Rijo Campers and especially to Michal for our wonderful family campervan experience! Despite a few minor issues, everything worked out perfectly thanks to everyone's cooperation. Iceland is incredible, and the Renault Master did its job perfectly on our 2,600+ kilometer road trip. It's hard to leave Iceland. Thank you again for contributing to this fantastic trip!
