  Rented a car from Geysir for the first time for 15 days. The reserved model was a Suzuki Vitara AWD, but the actual car provided was a KGM Korando AWD, which was very new. I purchased the ZERO Excess II full insurance. Both pickup and return were self-service — fast and convenient. Overall, it was a great rental experience. I highly recommend Geysir — an honest and trustworthy company that genuinely cares about its customers.

  It was a pleasure renting a car with Geysir for a full 15 days. I was worried about extremely high mileage cars when reading reviews on other car rentals companies in Iceland. Reviews on Geysir were promising and they did not disappoint. We have ordered a Dacia Duster and it was ready for pick-up after completing a self check-in on a tablet at a reception. I have advised them that we'll be out for 15 days and we needed a top notch car and I was pleasantly advised by them that oil was just replaced and new tyres installed. Indeed the car was clean and excellent throughout the journey with nothing to complain! Car had 112k on its odometer which was reasonable here. We have added 4.3k throughout the 15 day journey around Iceland and we had no issues whatsoever including gravel roads and some very minor F-roads. We have chosen a Dacia as fuel consumption is consistently reported close to 5L per km which indeed is what we got although when you do the Maths of the actual distance covered and the actual litres of fuel bought, that would actually hit close to 5.7L in reality. That goes beyond the car rental however :) I am glad to have chosen Geysir who provided me a great car for 15 days at a reasonable market price!!

  With the most complete insurance, we rented a Dacia Duster 4x4 in excellent condition, with 160,000 km. In 7 days we added 2,500 km - absolutely no problems, neither for tires, nor for lights, nor for fuel - consumption 5.5 l per 100 km. The preliminary communication with Geysir rent a car Keflavik was accurate, clear and with a sense of humor. Self-check-in, pick-up and drop-off of the car is an absolute plus for night flights. Thank you to the team for ensuring security and peace of mind for our trip!!

  Had a good rental experience here. The car had ~106k km on it but was well serviced and we didn’t have any problems with it. I received the exact model that I booked, online check in and key pickup were fast and convenient. The price with full insurance was reasonable (~500 EUR for 5 days in early March). The only drawback was that the car didn’t have climate control but only A/C which you have to adjust with knobs. However, it had things like road sign scanning and heated steering wheel.
